Features and Benefits
The professional finger joint cutter is designed to create precise, strong, and aesthetic finger joints, suitable for any type of wood – from softwoods to hardwoods. With teeth across the entire active surface and brazed HSS Standard high-speed steel inserts, it offers industrial durability and consistent performance even under intense work conditions.
✅ Solid and precise joint – the finger joint profile ensures perfect fastening and superior resistance to torsional and pulling forces.
✅ Two variants available – working space of 50 or 100 mm, for optimal adaptation to board or panel thickness.
✅ Industrial durability – brazed HSS inserts ensure excellent wear resistance and stability at high speeds.
✅ Long-term investment – inserts can be resharpened or replaced, extending the cutter's lifespan and reducing maintenance costs.
✅ Consistent precision – optimized tooth geometry allows for uniform cuts and joints without visible gaps.
✅ Universal compatibility – suitable for classic milling machines, with a clamping diameter of 125 mm and a bore corresponding to professional standards.
Recommended Applications:
- Joining solid wood boards, planks, and panels
- Creating countertops, frames, and large structures without losing strength
- Industrial or artisanal woodworking projects requiring durable and precise joints
⚠️ Usage Limitations:
❌ We do not recommend the HSS variant for chipboard, MDF, HDF, or very hard exotic wood
❌ For composite materials or demanding applications, choose the variant with Carbide inserts
COMPATIBILITY:
The cutter can be mounted on most standard milling machines, suitable for both manual work and CNC machines with moderate feed rates.

Compatibility Explanation (%)
- 95–80%: Optimal performance for soft and semi-hard wood; clean and stable cut, reduced wear in normal operating conditions.
- 79–60%: Good processing, but requires regular maintenance — periodic sharpening or moderate speeds to avoid overheating.
- <60%: Wood is dense, oily, or very hard, leading to accelerated wear and rapid loss of cutting edge.
Recommendation: For hardwoods and exotic wood, it is recommended to use HSS M2 Premium (62–66 HRC) or Carbide (Widia) cutters, which offer superior strength and longer lifespan.
