⚠️ The cutter is available in two working directions:

Right (above the wood) and Left (below the wood) – allowing you to choose the optimal option for your feed direction and machine configuration.

🛠️ Selection Guide: HSS vs. CARBIDE (Brazed Tools)

The choice of material depends not only on the hardness of the wood but also on how the cutting edge interacts with the fiber. Our brazed cutters are optimized for stationary and CNC machines, but their performance varies drastically depending on the wood species being processed.

✅ Conclusions for purchase:

• Standard HSS: Exclusively for very soft wood species (Spruce, Fir, Pine, Linden). Economical, fine cut.
• HSS M2: The "King" of softwoods. Guarantees impeccable white without burns. Also works on Oak/Beech for a mirror finish, but wears faster.
• Carbide (CMS): Mandatory for hard/exotic wood species (Oak, Beech, Mahogany) and derivatives (MDF, Chipboard, Plywood). Lasts thousands of meters without sharpening.

⚠️ Caution: Carbide requires constant feed. If you dwell in rotation on softwood, burning is guaranteed.
